College Church of Christ, Paris, TX

Southern Christian Home was blessed to have a group from the College Church of Christ in Paris, TX come out and help with much needed projects. The men of the group built two new cattle guards out at our farm and added a nice new entry. In addition, they clean up, welded on and generally spruced up our barbeque smoker. I don't think it could taste any better; however, it sure does look a whole lot better. The work was extremely hot and dirty, but these dedicated men completed at job well done.
The ladies with the group held a Vacation Bible School on campus sharing Christian life and Jesus' teaching with the children. We thoroughly enjoyed their stay with us, and all the hard work they put in was wonderful. Did I mention that it was hot? The dedication of these brothers and sisters to service was a true example of commitment to us all. We were truly bless to have them here and witness their willingness to sacrifice time, resources and energy in support of the mission here at Southern Christian Home.
