At the heart of Southern Christian Children’s Home is a clear and unwavering mission: to bring children to the feet of Jesus.
Our mission is to glorify God by providing an environment where children are given training and instruction in Christ-centered values, by helping to strengthen families, and by being faithful stewards of the human and material resources provided by Him.
To best serve our children and their families, we must base all that we do on Biblical truths and principles. Through the services we provide, we attempt to meet the children’s needs in the areas of physical, moral, mental, social, and spiritual growth.
Our Ministry
We are based in Morrilton, Arkansas and are a ministry of the Church of Christ.
We provide comprehensive services for at-risk and vulnerable children from across the state.
RESIDENTIAL CARE
Southern Christian Children’s Home provides safe, nurturing residential care for at-risk children and youth in Arkansas, offering top-quality homes staffed by dedicated live-in house parents. Through a structured, faith-based environment, we ensure each child receives the stability, guidance, and support needed to thrive.
FOSTER CARE
Southern Christian Children's Home serves as a vital link in Arkansas, connecting children in need with loving foster homes while providing essential resources, training, and ongoing support to foster families. Through a Christ-centered mission, we ensure that children experience stability, care, and encouragement in nurturing environments.
WHOLE-PERSON APPROACH
Southern Christian Children’s Home nurtures the whole child by providing therapy, quality education, spiritual guidance, medical care, and hands-on learning experiences through our farm and life skills programs. By fostering emotional, physical, spiritual, academic, and practical growth, we equip children with the confidence and tools needed for a successful, independent future.
