Whole Person Approach

Meeting Children’s Needs

Southern Christian Children’s Home embraces a “whole person” approach to care, recognizing that each child is more than their circumstances. We nurture the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational well-being of every child, providing comprehensive support that helps them heal, grow, and thrive. By addressing the needs of the whole child, we prepare them not just for today, but for a healthy, hopeful life.

Spiritual Growth

At Southern Christian Children’s Home, spiritual growth is woven into daily life. Children attend a local Church of Christ on Sundays and Wednesdays, participate in morning chapel on campus, and receive ongoing spiritual guidance and encouragement from our staff. These consistent, Christ-centered experiences help nurture a strong relationship with God and a deeper understanding of His love and purpose for their lives.

Education

Southern Christian Children’s Home provides strong academic support through certified teachers and dedicated tutors who work closely with each child to meet their individual educational needs. Whether a child is catching up from past disruptions or striving to stay on track, our team offers personalized instruction, tutoring, and encouragement. This focused attention helps build confidence and lays a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
